3 Counties Tandem Club

The programme for 2012 is shown below. We are sending this out by e-mail to those members for whom we have e-mail addresses and by post to those for whom we do not. We will send out details about each ride by e-mail a few days beforehand and if you intend to participate please let the leaders know in advance. This helps considerably with the catering arrangements. If you have received this by post but now have an e-mail address please let us know at John & Sally as we wish to further reduce our administrative costs.

All Tandem riders and solos are welcome. We are a social group averaging between 10 and 12 miles per hour and usually stopping for coffee, lunch and afternoon tea breaks. New riders are always welcome; somebody will always stay with you in the unlikely event of the pace being too fast. If you have mechanical trouble we will help to sort it out and we can arrange for you to meet or leave us at lunch if you do not wish to cycle all day.

The ride in February from Ledbury consists of two short rides, one in the morning of about 18 miles and one in the afternoon of about 12 miles so you can come in the morning, or in the afternoon, or both for a ride of about 25-30 miles. There are pubs and cafes in Ledbury that will be open for lunch. The Tandem Club National Rally will be held in August at Kettering Rugby Club. Our camping weekend will be held in October with details to follow.

If you participate in any ride organised by or in the name of the Tandem Club, you do so entirely at your own risk. The Club, its officers and ride organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage to property, accident, injury or death that may occur, however caused, whether by negligence, deliberate act or otherwise.
